Massive anti-Syria protests erupted in Turkey after a Syrian man was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 7-year-old Syrian girl in the NATO nation. Following social media hysteria, Turkish people demanded the ouster of Syrian refugees from the country. It also triggered riots late on Sunday. The violence triggered Syrians in Turkey, who vandalised shops, hurled stones at Turkish trucks, tore Turkish flags and even opened fire at Turkish troops.
